QUICK SHRIMPS FRIED RICE
This is a very simple and cost effective meal . A little bit different from the conventional fried rice. It is equally rich in nutrients. Let’s get cooking !!
INGREDIENTS
• Rice
• Carrots
• Peas
• Fresh pepper & dry pepper
• Vegetable oil
• Seasoning cubes
• Shrimps
• Onions
• Garlic
• Ginger
• Eggs
METHOD
• Heat a little quantity of vegetable oil in a fry pan, add the shrimps which you seasoned with salt and dry pepper into the fry pan. Leave until the shrimps turn pink
• Remove the shrimps from the fry pan .
• Add more oil into the fry pan, leave to heat up and add the chopped onions, peas, minced garlic and ginger and the diced carrots.
• Pour the content of the fry pan into the pot containing the parboiled rice. Also add the seasoning cubes.
• Pat the rice into 2 in the pot and crack the 2 eggs into the middle of the pot. Stir to crumble the eggs. Leave to cook for 5 minutes.
• Add the fried shrimps ,stir and leave to cook for another 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
