QUICK SHRIMPS FRIED RICE


This is a very simple and cost effective meal . A little bit different from the conventional fried rice. It is equally rich in nutrients. Let’s get cooking !!


INGREDIENTS
Rice
Carrots
Peas
Fresh pepper & dry pepper
Vegetable oil
Seasoning cubes
Shrimps
Onions
Garlic
Ginger
Eggs

METHOD
Heat a little quantity of vegetable oil in a fry pan, add the shrimps which you seasoned with salt and dry pepper into the fry pan. Leave until the shrimps turn pink
Remove the shrimps from the fry pan .
Add more oil into the fry pan, leave to heat up and add the chopped onions, peas, minced garlic and ginger and the diced carrots.
Pour the content of the fry pan into the pot containing the parboiled rice. Also add the seasoning cubes.
Pat the rice into 2 in the pot and crack the 2 eggs into the middle of the pot. Stir to crumble the eggs. Leave to cook for 5 minutes.
Add the fried shrimps ,stir and leave to cook for another 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
