OKRA SOUP


This is one of the vegetables taken in soup in this part of the world .Today I present to you okra soup a little different from the usual .So let’s start cooking.


INGREDIENTS
Okra
Smoked fish
Stock fish
Shrimps
Onions
Palm oil
Fresh pepper
Seasoning cubes
Salt
Ugu vegetable
Water

METHOD
Cook the stockfish after it must have been soaked in salted water for about 15 minutes.
Add the chopped pepper and onions. Stir and leave to cook for 5 minutes.
Add the palm oil stir and leave to simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the dressed shrimps , washed smoked fish and the okra. Once the okra gets into the pot do not cover the pot as you continue the cooking. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the seasoning cubes ,water ( if needed ) and the vegetable. Cook for another 5 – 7 minutes.
Serve with any choice swallow.
