PEPPERED STEW
This stew is very good for people who have cold , it has a way of clearing the airways and the pepper is also good for the heart. The pepper in this stew should be to a level you can tolerate. The stew is packed with a lot of nutrients from the peppers and the fish. It is very easy to prepare.
YOU NEED
Pepper [scotch bonnet ]
Tatashe /bulus [bell pepper]
Ginger & Garlic
Onions
Fresh fish
Curry
Palm oil
Seasoning cubes
Uziza seeds [ optional]
Salt
Water
PREPARATION
Blend the peppers,onions , ginger and garlic together.
Wash the fish.
METHOD
Pour the blended mixture into a pot and allow to cook for 10 minutes.
Add the fish to the mixture and leave to cook until the fish is cooked.
Add the palm oil , seasoning cubes and salt [ if needed]. Leave to cook for some time.
Serve with boiled rice, plantain or yam.
